Ahhh Layla was so much fun to photograph! She slept like a dream ... and can we talk about those cheeks!!! I am pretty sure I already overshared her on my Facebook page, and I'm not one bit ashamed! Here I go oversharing some more...I hope you enjoy these just as much as I do!
Happy 2017! Now that 2016 has come to an end, and my busy season is officially over, I am hoping to spend some time getting caught up on blogs and updating my website. One of my 2017 business goals is to stay caught up on blogging!
I have about 6 months of blogging to do, but I thought I'd start with Christmas mini sessions before the holiday spirit is too far gone! I am so thankful that we had such beautiful weather for these. This was the first year I did them by myself, in one day, in time slots so close together and I was just a little nervous about how it would go. Well my amazing clients blew me away with their punctuality and making my sessions flow quickly and easily. Thank you!!!
And a HUGE thank you to Dudeck's Pine Country for their hospitality in letting me use their beautiful farm for the day.
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Enjoy some of my favorites from the mini sessions!
This was my third senior session with Hannah - we did a fall, winter, and then this summer session back in June. She was stunning and knew how to rock the poses by her 3rd session!
Side note & fun fact....when Hannah was in elementary school, I was the school counselor there...and now she's graduated! Time flies too fast!
2 week old Jerren was just SO CUTE! And I have to admit, I died a little when I saw his amazing little curls in his hair. He slept for a little bit at the beginning of his session, and then he was wide awake and ready to party! He was nicknamed "Prince" before he was ever born, so I made the little crown for him to wear - because every Prince must have a crown! I loved getting to meet Jerren, and I can't wait to see him again at his next milestone session!
I have been so lucky to take pictures of the cutest little boys over the last few months! Since it seems like my little man was just at this stage, these little boys have an extra special place in my heart as I see these "baby moments" slip away at my own house. Capturing these fleeting moments in time is so important! 6 month old Leo was just as cute as can be and he flashed me so many smiles! I loved taking his pictures and I sure hope I get the chance to see him again sometime down the road! Thank you Brittany & Leo!
Colton was way too easy to photograph for his 3 year pictures! For about 4 seconds he acted like he wasn't interested in pictures, but after that (he might have been bribed with the promise of a treat) he flashed me million dollar smiles and did everything I asked of him and more! I had so many favorites from this session...and make sure you scroll to the end to see what a handsome cowboy Colton makes!
You guys!!! I had ANOTHER dream baby! Gehrig slept hard during the first half of his session and I was able to breeze through many poses with him. Once it was time to do some prop shots and parent poses, he was wide awake, but was content as can be when I wrapped him up tight!
His dad works at Notre Dame and I love how sweet he looks in his little ND hat (even if I'm a Purdue fan over here, ha!)
I am so thankful to have had the chance to meet and photograph Gehrig! I hope his parents love his pictures!
These boys were KILLING me with their cuteness! Their outfits, their smiles, their hair...they were the complete package!
I'm not going to lie, before they showed up to their session I was prepared to get a workout in...two young boys aren't always the easiest subjects to photograph! But boy, was I wrong! They were sweet as can be, great listeners, and flashed me the biggest smiles left and right. And when they gave each other a great big brotherly kiss...my heart melted on the floor right then and there. It's not often that two young boys make my job easy, but they sure did!
Enjoy some of their cuteness below!
It was so great to see Layla again - I took some pictures of her during her 1st year, and I can't believe she's already 2! She is the prettiest little thing with her blond curls and blue eyes, and as sweet as can be! And as always, her mama had her dressed in the best little outfits! Here are just a few of my favorites, but I honestly loved them all.
I had so much fun last month at part 2 of Hannah's 3 part senior session! We did some pictures at the Red Barn in LaPorte in the fall, and then we waited for the perfect snowy weather for these winter pictures! I have always wanted to do a session in the snow, and I was so excited when they requested one. Even though it was freezing, Hannah rocked her session out like a pro! Here are a few of my favorites, but I have to say, I love them all!
Thanks for another fun session, Hannah! I can't wait for your spring session!
